The Design Village
Rebranding a design institute that was already ahead of its time.
Role: Creative Direction, Digital Project Management
Overview
The Design Village is one of India's most progressive design schools. They came to us with a clear challenge: their digital presence didn't match the ambition of the institution. We delivered a full rebrand and website redesign in two months.
The Brief

TDV needed to speak to two audiences at once: design-forward students with a global perspective, and parents evaluating a serious academic decision. The brand needed to be timeless, visually confident, and built to convert.
My Role
I owned this project end to end as Digital Project Manager. That covered client communication, project strategy, timeline management, milestone sign-offs, invoicing, and stakeholder approvals across both sides. I was the single point of contact between TDV's leadership and the White Pencil creative team throughout.
Building the Brand Identity
Three words anchored every creative decision: Enthusiasm. Confidence. Reliability.

Orange for passion and motivation. Blue for trust and belief. A single typeface kept it clean.

The illustration system was built entirely from the diamond in the TDV logo, keeping every asset minimal and on-brand.

Information Architecture

CTAs and Conversion Design
Every page was built around a clear next step, funnelling both students and parents toward the admissions page.

The Challenge
The hardest part of this project wasn't the creative. It was keeping communication structured and decisions moving across a stakeholder group with strong opinions and tight timelines. Getting brand direction approved required clear, documented feedback cycles and knowing when to escalate vs. hold the line.
