Life and Times - Vol. 1
A retrospective on the past 26 years of life
-
On Change.
"Change is the only constant in this world."
Oftentimes, you’ll be forced into staying in the same environment, but you have to know if you’re the smartest person in the room or the dumbest.
If you’re the smartest, walk out.
-
On Rareness.
Most people love the idea of being with someone rare. But most are accustomed to the common — therefore, they don't know how to recognise or behave when "rare" appears.
In the end, they lose what they want and continue to attract what they know: “common.”
Rare is Rare. -
On Priorities.
Peace of mind/health > Family > Wealth.
In that order. Won't explain.
-
On Passion.
Pursuing your passion is rare. Often, life doesn’t work out like that.
If you crack this, you're truly lucky.
-
On Kindness.
Kindness is a double-edged sword. You have to show it just right.
If you are too kind, people will step all over you.
Won't Explain.
-
On Learning And Education.
Formal education has never been more expensive.
Self-education has never been more cheaper.
It's the willingness to learn that's scarce.
-
On Happiness.
Happiness is calm acceptance of what is, not the endless pursuit of what isn’t. You'll never find happiness externally. Be at peace with yourself first, and you will arrive.
People are not unhappy with their own sorrows.
They're unhappy with the happiness of others.
If you can buy happiness, buy it.
-
On Friendships.
True friendship is rooted in virtue, not convenience.
Good friends restrain you.
-
On Realness.
The real gets overlooked because they move in silence.
The fakes get applauded because they broadcast everything.
People from a distance can't tell who is who.
In the end, time reveals all.
-
On Failures.
Contrary to what we are taught in schools, the real world actually rewards you for your failures.
You fail, you learn from that experience, and you become a better person.
-
On Human Nature.
Most of your haters will be the people you've helped the most.
They'll kick dirt on your name without thinking twice.
People quickly forget your generosity, but always remember inadequacy, as Gratitude is a burden, and revenge a pleasure.
Stay kind, just know its price.
-
On Advice.
Reject most advice (including this one) as it often comes from a limited perspective and not from someone who's been on the same boat as you.
Don’t give advice unless asked.
The wise won’t need it. The fool won’t heed it.
-
On Hardships.
Hard times create strong men.
Strong men create good times.
Good times create weak men.
Weak men create hard times.
-
On Character.
A person of strong character is like gold—rare but invaluable.
They can adapt, learn, and improve themselves.
Be water, my friend.
-
On Living In The Moment.
You'll be older for longer than you'll be younger.
Live in the moment, but never stop building for tomorrow.
-
On Intelligence.
The real sign of intelligence is being able to get what you want in life.
-
On Maturity.
It's not your job to correct the version of you in people's minds—
They can only understand from their level of perception.Maturity is maintaining a private life, making power moves in silence,
and allowing your results to speak when the time is right. -
On Distractions.
As distraction increases, bank balance decreases.
Focus is a superpower in today's world. Learn to cultivate it early on.
-
On Energy And Karma.
The universe always settles the score.
Karma is real, and you can’t escape it in your lifetime.
Being a good human is a non-negotiable.
-
On Power Of Being Alone.
The phrase "willingness to be lonely" always stuck with me.
It captures how those at the top of their craft are unlike others.
They're mavericks, misfits, and visionaries who see the world differently and carve their own path—not just in how they perform, but in how they think and live.
"Be alone- that is the secret of invention; be alone, that is when ideas are born."- Nikola Tesla
-
On Trust.
Trust nobody with your future and money.
Won’t explain.
-
On Time.
You can get more money. More opportunities.
But you’ll never get more time. Lost time is never found.
Spend it like it’s your last currency.
Have a sense of urgency, and start protecting your time.
-
On Being Detached.
Detachment is not that you own nothing;
Detachment is that nothing owns you.
-
On Money.
Don’t spend the money you haven’t earned yet.
Avoid credit at all costs. Won't explain.
-
On Communication.
I used to think communication was the key—until I realized comprehension is.
You can communicate all you want with someone,
but if they don't understand you, it's silent chaos.
-
On Potential.
"Potential" means nothing if you never deliver.
The potential you see in other people isn't real—it's a projection of what you'd do in their position.Rarely is potential realised, so take people for who they are today.
It's better to be pleasantly surprised by someone's improvement
than disappointed by a self-created illusion.
